

Manawatū NZ is the region’s destination and lifestyle platform, promoting Manawatū and Palmerston North as a place to live, visit, study and do business. Their mission is to champion the region’s vibrancy — its people, stories, events and opportunities — through a digital experience that feels welcoming, intuitive and uniquely local.
Our task was to rebuild the entire platform from the ground up, creating a site that not only reflects the region’s character but also empowers locals, travellers, and organisations to discover everything Manawatū has to offer.
We designed and developed the new website to:
Showcase the region’s identity through a modern UX and visually rich design system.
Bring events, experiences and stories together into one seamless digital home.
Build an interactive regional map with Plan My Trip functionality, enabling users to create personalised itineraries.
Develop a scalable WordPress ecosystem where content editors can easily publish stories, manage events and keep information fresh.
Integrate social feeds and dynamic storytelling to keep the site continuously connected to the community.
The result is a flexible, future-ready website that transforms ManawatuNZ into a dynamic regional hub — helping residents, visitors and businesses explore the region with confidence, pride and ease.
